The approval by the Church of the liturgical celebration of the feast of Jesus Christ High and Eternal Priest had a long itinerary.

If it was up to Venerable García Lahiguera to give the “official” impulse, it became effective thanks to the discreet and vigorous intervention of M. María del Carmen.

Little by little this Feast has spread and is celebrated in many places. It is a day of prayer and priestly meeting in which priests concelebrate in a solemn mass.
The priest is the bridge between God and mankind. He is a “pontiff”; he has become a bridge between above and below. When he descends from above, all divine grace will descend upon him. All the prayers of humanity will pass through him, if he ascends from below. He will be God’s ambassador. He will be before God the representative of humanity. There is no greater greatness!
