HE CALLED US AND GATHERED US AROUND HIM
Our mission in the Church, through the grace received from the Holy Spirit, is to cooperate spiritually in the sanctification of priests and aspirants to the priesthood.
Oblate means offered
We make the words of Jesus Christ in his priestly prayer the centre of our lives: Father, I pray for them and I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth. I pray not only for them, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, so that they may all be one (Cf. Jn 17:9.19-21)
Pray for the priests
We should all pray for the sanctity of priests.
Prayer achieves all things
An entirely contemplative life
“Oblate” means offered, and we are named “of Christ the Priest” because our specific vocation is born from the priestly beat of the Heart of Christ: “Pro eis rogo et pro eis sanctifico meipsum” (I pray for them and I consecrate myself for them – Jn 17:9.19) and it is through Him, and with Him, and in Him how we live our being in the Church: prayer and oblation
